Herbal Essences Bee Strong Shampoo and Conditioner Review

Herbal Essences Bee Strong Shampoo and Conditioner Review

Herbal Essences Bee Strong Shampoo and Conditioner

Herbal Essences Bee Strong Shampoo and Conditioner

I'm forever trying out new shampoo and conditioners because I find if I use the same ones on my hair too regularly they stop working so well and my hair either ends up a frizzy mess or flat and dull.  Of course I have my favourites that are always sitting on the side in the bathroom but in between using them I like to mix it up a little.

The latest shampoo and conditioner to find it's way into my collection is the Bee Strong range by Herbal Essences.  I love anything with a honey scent so I just knew I had to try these products! Primarily, they are for damaged hair, something which luckily I do not have even though it is often tortured with heat on a regular basis, endless backcombing and countless products.  To help prevent getting damaged hair one of the things I do is to occasionally use a shampoo and conditioner for damaged hair, though. The Bee Strong range looks to strengthen your hair and repair the protective outer layer of each strand of hair so seemed perfect for this use.  It contains nourishing ingredients such as Apricot and Honey, the latter being well known for it's healing properties.

This creamy lotion looks like liquid gold as you pour it onto your hand and smells divine.  It isn't strong at all, however, so the smell doesn't linger on your hair and on application you can barely smell it as the scent is so subtle.  This is something I can imagine would appeal to a lot of people but personally I love that just washed look, feel and smell so I like my hair to smell of the products I have used.

Once I have rinsed the shampoo and conditioner off of my hands my hair is left extremely silky soft, in fact, so soft I would say it rivals the Moroccan Oil Shampoo and Conditioner.  Sadly, this feeling doesn't last and when my hair is dry it feels ok but not as soft and smooth as I would have expected.  This is disappointing but nothing some Moroccan Oil cannot fix.

Although I do usually like Herbal Essences shampoo and conditioners I'm not so sure about this one because once dried my hair didn't have that nourished feeling and actually felt a little dry at the tips the following day.  From now on I think I will stick to the other ranges I enjoy but if you want to try Bee Strong it is available at Boots from only £1.94.

Have you tried anything from the Bee Strong Herbal Essences range?
